Professor Asoka Perera

The founder and Managing director of AR Project Management Services, Professor Asoka Perera who holds the post of Professor, Civil Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. He is a reputed educationist who continues to make a valuable contribution to the education of Sri Lanka. His specialities include Project Management, Cost Effective Construction and Materials, Management and Information Systems and Computer aided Estimating. He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineers since the year 2003..

Asoka has years of experience in Engineering and Construction and over in specialising in project management.

Outside the organisation he has also had served as Chairman, Lanka Evangelical Alliance Development Service and also as the Vice President of the Sri Lanka Baptist Sangamaya..

Having successfully based his Bachelor of Science Honours Degree from the University of Moratuwa he proceeded to Loughborough University of Technology to complete his Masters in Construction and later his Ph.D in Construction Management. He was awarded the Fulbright Fellowship Award from the USA Government in 1999. His research publications to academic journals and presentations at numerous conferences and symposiums of professional associations are many.
